​Connecting Seniors Through Theatre

Through the federal government’s New Horizons for Seniors program we are creating opportunities for seniors to reconnect with their communities through shared experiences of learning, creating, and appreciating a variety of theatre related activities, workshops and outings.

Youth Theatre Collective

To provide opportunities for performance and playwriting skills development for youth (age 14 to 21).

Summer Stages Youth and Theatre Camps

We have summer educational theatre program for youth 7 – 21 years & adults.​​We offer a variety of single week sessions in performance, production skills and playwriting, and a multiple week pre-professional performance mentorship program. While we give participants the opportunity to present/display their achievements in a public forum at the end of each session, our focus is on process and personal growth in a supportive collaborative environment.

 

Workshops, Programs and Education

Theatre on the Ridge has the resources of a highly experienced artistic and production team available to assist community theatres, organizations and schools with bringing a wide variety of theatre related activities and programming to their members and students. Our artistic and production team will donate a portion of any professional fee, or accept a ticket donation, to our Save A Seat program.

Setting the Scene –
Pre-Performance Chats

Theatre on the Ridge is happy to support audience education and growth by providing a pre-performance chat at one or more performances of your company’s production. In exchange for a ticket donation to our Save a Seat program, one of our artistic directors will come to your venue and engage audience members in an entertaining conversation full of relevant facts, details and trivia to enhance their evening at the theatre.

Play Polishing & Adjudication

Play polishing and adjudications can be excellent hands-on educational opportunities for all members of a production. Theatre on the Ridge offers access to these services for school and community theatre productions and projects. Our artistic and production team will donate a portion of any professional fee, or accept a ticket donation, to our Save A Seat program.

 

Costume & Props Rentals

Costume and props loans are available for community theatres and organizations for a nominal donation.
