GETTING HERE – WITH DURHAM TRANSIT

Our Summer Season shows take place at Scugog Shores Museum Village, 16210 Island Road, Port Perry.
Doors open 30 minutes before the performance begins.

Planning your trip with Durham Transit and Durham on Demand (from Whitby GO):

Organize your return trip to a Theatre on the Ridge matinee show from the Whitby GO station with Durham Transit! Durham on Demand is an extension of Durham Transit in selected areas where regular schedules do not operate. Please note, due to evening bus schedules, this is NOT an option for a return trip from an evening show.

Step by Step:

Call Durham on Demand:

Speak with an agent directly to book your ‘on Demand’ vehicle for your arrival and departure. Vehicles can be booked from the day before your desired trip, from 5 am onward. Be sure to discuss the best times to schedule your ‘on Demand’ vehicle with your agent, considering your bus times and show time.

T: 1-866-247-0055

Durham on Demand is subject to availability. If your arrival and departure is dependent on Durham Transit, please be sure to confirm ‘on Demand’ availability before booking your Theatre on the Ridge ticket.

Have your bus arrival and departure time ready before you call:

Use the Trip Planner tool on Durham Transit’s homepage to find out bus times for your desired show date. From Whitby GO (and return), you’ll need to take the #905C bus. Your stop in Port Perry for accessing your ‘on Demand’ vehicle is, Curt St. & Water Sthttps://www.durhamregiontransit.com/en/index.aspx

Tips for your arrival in Port Perry:

Select ‘Arrive by’ (instead of ‘Depart at’) and select a time that is at least 1 hour before your desired arrival time to Theatre on the Ridge. This is to ensure there is a margin for potential delays with Durham Transit or Durham on Demand.

Tips for your departure from Port Perry:

Select ‘Depart at’ and select a time that is at least 1 hour after the estimated end of the show. Shows are normally up to 2h15min in length.
