MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM
Attention: Emerging Singer-Songwriters and Acoustic Musicians…
Performance Opportunity!
Are you an emerging or aspiring singer-songwriter or solo/duo acoustic musician between the ages of 15-30 who lives in the Durham region?
If so, Theatre on the Ridge has a unique performance opportunity for you!
We are accepting performer applications for “Music at the Museum”
A curated showcase offering live outdoor performances from local acoustic Music Artists from across the Durham region.
Successful applicants will play a 45 minute set on the grounds of the scenic Scugog Shores Museum 90 minutes before the curtain goes up on the Theatre on the Ridge play performances.
This Summer (June, July, August 2025)
To entertain our Theatre patrons ahead of the show.
PA system and live sound technician provided, you just have to bring your instrument, your songs, your story, our stage.

Summer 2025 Employment Opportunities
Summer is just around the corner and we’re getting ready to hire our summer season artists, staff and production team.
Please review the position postings and submit a detailed resume including relevant formal training and/or experience and cover letter to the General Manager at humanresources@theatreontheridge.ca.

oRidginator Lab Actor/Instructor – 4 positions
Stage Manager – 2 positions
Production Assistant – 1 position
Costume & Properties Coordinator – 1 position
Media Marketing Coordinator – 1 position
Digital Marketing Coordinator – 1 position
Information & Tourism Services Coordinator – 1 position
*The above positions are subject to funding.
As required by government funding parameters, successful candidates are between the ages of 18 and 30, a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigrant and Refugee Protection Act 2, be legally entitled to work under relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
