Introduction to Sound Design for Theatre
This workshop was introduced last year to considerable interest and enthusiasm. This year, Margo Rodgers, fresh from directing the Durham Shoestring Performers’ production of Mustard by Kat Sandler, joins Michael Serres as they discuss their approaches to sound design for the theatre, and demonstrate some of the techniques they use to create sound effects and soundscapes to create mood and atmosphere, and to enhance the overall production.
