Connecting Partner Program

TOTR believes in the power of theatre as a universal language and medium of entertainment,
self-expression and communication to broaden understanding and empathy between individuals and communities. Two of our core beliefs include:

1. Supporting and inspiring the whole community, including youth, through dedicated programs and activities.

2. Enriching and growing theatre through collaboration, education and accessibility.

This year, due to shifts in the funding landscape, Connecting Through Theatre has been self-
supporting and reliant on activities fees to run and we are so proud of the continued
participation and commitment from our program participants to keep
Connecting Through Theatre active.

We’re pleased to announce that a recent donation made by an ad hoc group of individuals now
makes it possible for us to offer limited number of opportunities to participate in
Connecting Through Theatre at no cost.

The funds received from this gift are to be used for participants, regardless of age or gender,
whose financial situation may not permit the expense, to participate in Introduction to Scene
Study classes. This gift allows us to offer six Scene Study Connecting Partner cards to eligible
individuals for all regularly scheduled Introduction to Scene Study class between February and
May of 2026 (8 classes) + 2 single bonus classes (choice of Animated Acting, Wordplay)
